Safety Policies & Rules

Behavior & Personal Conduct

CirqueHaus promotes tolerance, respect, and positivity at all times. CirqueHaus’s primary goal is ensuring a safe environment in which all members of the community may enjoy movement and circus arts. Any individual who denies others the right to safe, respectful enjoyment of CirqueHaus’s facilities and offerings may be denied access to the facility and have any memberships or class reservations revoked (a pro-rated refund will be made for unused service fees). In extreme cases, such as those culminating in verbal or written complaints to CirqueHaus staff, an individual may be prohibited from entering CirqueHaus indefinitely. Such prohibition will be at the sole discretion of CirqueHaus management.

General Rules & Safety

General Safety Rules and Policies

  • We reserve the right to deny participation of day pass visitors and members with certain injuries, health conditions, or behavioral issues. This includes students or members not following CirqueHaus policies, reckless behavior, or appearance of working past the point of exhaustion.

  • Students at private lessons must use caution and follow instructions for their own safety, and that of others. Reckless behavior will result in dismissal from class and forfeiture of payment.

  • Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, or illicit drug use is not allowed or tolerated at CirqueHaus.

  • Filming or photography is permitted for personal training documentation. For safety of everyone, no flash photography is permitted. No filming or photography is permitted for commercial purposes. For commercial filming and photography options, please contact us.

Open Gym/Independent Training

  • Open Gym/Independent Training is available to those aged at least 18 years.

  • Open Gym is not for coaching others or soliciting the coaching of others. This is to keep everyone safe and following our safety protocols for coaching. If you're interested in coaching at CirqueHaus, please complete the instructor approval form.

  • Certain areas may be unavailable during coaching, special events, or private lessons. These other gym functions have priority over independent training, so please inquire at the reception on check-in about the best areas to train.

Aerial Attire & Safety

  • Students want to wear comfortable, form-fitted clothing that stays in place during inversions, drops, and rolls. No jewelry should be worn and long hair should be tied back. No clothing with buckles, zippers, or large buttons should be worn.

  • Aerialists are required to have a mat (at least 8" crash mat) under them each time their feet leave the ground. If an instructor sees a student acting any way the instructor sees as unsafe the student will be asked to stop or even leave the facility.

Cancellation

  • Cancellations for private lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advance (online) & with your individual instructor to be eligible for a credit to your account.

  • Registration for workshops is non-refundable.

Refund Policy

  • All sales are final. We do not refund purchases back to credit cards, only back to client accounts for use at either another time or to make a different purchase.
